"I feel fortunate to be a part of the Central Oregon community and Bethlehem Inn is an incredible reflection of our community's values and our care for each other. We also know that homelessness has a significant impact on health and overall health care costs - yet our health care system is not designed to address it. Bethlehem Inn has made great progress to change this paradigm."

"First Presbyterian Church of Bend has been a strong supporter of Bethlehem Inn for years. I have seen firsthand the way each and every person who comes to Bethlehem Inn is treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. I don’t believe we serve those who, for a variety of reasons, find themselves on the margins to make a difference as we serve so that we become different. I am humbled and honored to have this opportunity to contribute to such a vital mission and organization serving our community.”"

His involvement with Bethlehem Inn began in earnest in 2014 with direct involvement in the complete reconstruction of the Inn's current campus. Kevin works for SunWest Builders as Senior Preconstruction Manager and was directly involved in the planning process of the campus reconstruction which took several years to complete. During this time he was captured by the community's dedication to transforming lives through help and hope and by simply providing basic needs like shelter and opportunity to families and individuals.
"Central Oregon has amazing views but for some of our neighbors it is poverty with a view. Staring at the mountains, lakes and vast high deserts tends to put the poor and marginalized into our peripheral vision. Fortunately, Bethlehem Inn provides much needed transitional living and has a history of life-saving success stories."
